Fourth Session of the Serbian-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation in Almaty, 7 and 8 August 2025
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić assessed the Fourth Expert Session of the Serbian-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation in Almaty as very successful.
It was mutually assessed that the bilateral relations between our two countries are characterized by mutual respect, understanding and mutual support, in all areas of common interest.
During the meeting, Minister Dačić thanked his interlocutor for Kazakhstan's firm and consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, as well as our position and policy on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
Ministers Dačić and Zhumangarin agreed that intensifying the exchange of visits at the high and highest levels is important for improving our comprehensive cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, business, culture, tourism and defense.
It was emphasized that the visit of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to Kazakhstan is being prepared, and that, considering the current situation, the mixed commission has the task of preparing projects on which we can work in the future.
