Courtesy Meeting Between Ambassador Jovičić and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan During the Opening of the CICA Headquarters in Astana

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Jovičić, attended the official opening ceremony of the headquarters of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), held in Astana on July 2 of this year.
The ceremony was opened by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who in his address emphasized the importance of CICA as a platform for enhancing regional security, political dialogue, and economic cooperation among Asian countries.
During a brief courteous conversation between the Ambassador and the President of Kazakhstan, both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral relations. Ambassador Jovičić took the opportunity to thank President Tokayev for Kazakhstan’s principled stance on respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
