Travel to Serbia

Before travelling to the Republic of Serbia, please read here general entry requirements.

Visa regime

Citizens of  Kazahstan traveling to the Republic of Serbia do not need visas for a stay of up to 30 days.

All holders of  Kazahstan travel documents for aliens or refugees require an entry visa for the Republic of Serbia.

If you do not possess an Kazahstan passport, please check here whether you need a visa.

Visas can be requested by submitting an application to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.

 

TYPES OF VISAS
*************
1) visa C
2) visa D

1) VISA C - For short stay in Serbia up to 90 days
Short-stay visas are mainly issued for tourism, business as well as other travelling needs including a single, double or multiple entries into the Republic of Serbia. The duration of an uninterrupted stay, and/or the total duration of successive visits of a alien with a short-stay visa shall not exceed 90 days within a period of six months which began on the day of the first entry.

VISA C REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from issue date of visa)
- Photo (Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm)
- Completed visa application form
- Invitation letter:

  •  for a private visit - invitation letter certified by the relevant authority of the Republic of Serbia
  •  for a business visit - invitation from by a company in Serbia stating nature of the business and expected duration of the  visit
  •  for a tourist visit - a proof of payment for the trip issued by a travel agency (voucher or other type of payment receipt)

- Proof of stay in Kazahstan - residence permit, visa (if you are not residing in your native country)
- Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia
- Health insurance
- Visa fee:
Tax for visa C is the amount of 60,00 euros payable to the Consulate Section.
The amount of 2,00 euros for visa sticker will be additionally charged.



2) VISA D - For long term stay in Serbia up to 180 days
Visa D, for a longer stay,  is issued to a foreigner for staying in the territory of the Republic of Serbia for a period of 90 to 180 days. This visa is issued to a foreigner who intends to apply in the Republic of Serbia for a temporary residence permit.

VISA D REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from issue date of visa)
- Photo (Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm)
- Completed visa application form

- Invitation letter:

  •  for a private visit - invitation letter certified by the relevant authority of the Republic of Serbia
  •  for a business visit - invitation from by a company in Serbia stating nature of the business and expected duration of the  visit

- Proof of stay in Kazahstan - residence permit, visa (if you are not residing in your native country)
- Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia
- Health insurance
- Visa fee:
Tax for visa D is the amount of 30,00 euros payable to the Consulate Section.
The amount of 2,00 euros for visa sticker will be additionally charged.


In addition to the above documents, depending on the purpose of the journey, for the type D type, the following must also be enclosed:

1. EMPLOYMENT IN R. SERBIA:

1.1. Certificate of registration of a legal entity, company, sports club or association or entrepreneur in R. Serbia;
1.2. Work contract, business-technical cooperation contract, sports engagement or other document proving work engagement of a foreigner in R. Serbia.

2. EDUCATION, STUDY, INTERNATIONAL EXERCISE OF STUDENTS AND STUDENTS, PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE, SPECIALIZATION, SCIENTIFIC-RESEARCH WORK IN R. SERBIA:

2.1. Certificate of enrollment in an accredited primary, secondary or higher education institution;
2.2. Excerpt from legal entity registration in R. Serbia;
2.3. Certificate of organization of professional practice and specialization;
2.4. A copy of the registration of a scientific research organization and a contract concluded with a scientific-research organization.

3. FAMILY REUNION (spouse is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia):

3.1. Extract from the Register of Marriages, not older than 6 months;
3.2. In the case of extramarital community, a certificate of free marital status, statements of spouses and a certified statement from two witnesses
about the partner's community, proof of the joint address of the dwelling, an extract from the register of extra-marital communities,
if they have a common child - an excerpt from the Birth Register for a Child.

6. REALESTATE  OWNERSHIP:

6.1. Extract from the real estate list (title deed);
6.2. Certified sales contract or gift contract;
6.3. Estate court decision or a court judgment.

The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documentation. Incomplete requests can not be considered.
